( 11:33 PM )
Throwing in the towel...or shell, as the case may be. I decided on the setting... Northeast, probably off the coast of Maine. I had debated either there or the Northwest coast, but too many rainy days off Washington.
I will not be making the 50,000 required word count this year, but I still consider myself a winner. I have the beginnings of a good start to a novel that I will enjoy writing and hopefully someday others will enjoy reading. I met a kindred spirit, at a write in, and together we jumped right in with a great group of other writers that meet weekly. Plus I have been "hooked up" with several online places to submit stuff. etc... (I'll post if and when I have anything accepted)
So all and all I am a winner in my endeavor to do the marathon NaNoWriMo, even with my WC hovering around 30,000.
Well, my computer is acting up so before it boots me offline...
I hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving and I will be around to catch up on reading tomorrow or Tuesday.
