( 1:40 PM ) Today, January 24th, was mentioned on WFAA, Good Morning, Texas, as being THE MOST DEPRESSING DAY OF THE YEAR. Huh? That can't be right. So I googled it. It's TRUE. Well, I beg to differ with that. TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!! SO THERE!!! IT'S A GREAT DAY!!!! REALLY!!! *I am still in my PJ's. *I should be at work. *I have yet to work a 40 hour week this year. *The kiddo has been throwing up since 1 am, can't be the flu as she is not running a fever. Nurse at Doctor's office said to bring her in if I wanted, but whatever it is will probably just need to run it's course. *I woke up at 5 am to do some stuff for work that I had forgotten about until 11 pm Sunday night. *The dog threw up on the kitchen floor about 6 am. *Then Ate It. *I gagged and hacked. Yuck!! *This would have been my 20th Wedding Anniversary if we hadn't divorced. I always thought I would celebrate a landmark Wedding Anniversary. 20th at the very least. I am happy not to be married to that husband, but I would like to be married to a "good man" kind of husband. *I really would have liked to spend this birthday on a nice hot beach somewhere or on a cruise ship. THIS IS A REALLY BIG BIRTHDAY!!! My true age will only appear this one time and only for today. As I desire to stay 39 and holding for sometime to come. You do the math. ALL LINKS RELATING TO THE YEAR OF MY BIRTH HAVE NOW BEEN REMOVED... 39 and holding, again I am a Generation Joneser, not a boomer. So there. *I have a sore throat, tea is not working. *Since the kiddo is ill we will not be going out to eat tonight. *Not to a movie either. *This is the second time I have written this post. I accidently clicked on the X *I will be cooking and taking care of her most of the day and night. *Except for those few hours I go to work and try not worry if she is alright. *Hot Chocolate is not helping either. *I don't have a cake. *Probably won't have candles. *If I don't go in to work how will I know if anyone sent flowers. *I think I want to cry, now. Oh Wait this just in... The Most Depressing Day of the Year is in England. Thank goodness I don't live in England. *This is the third try to post this. Computer crashed. Thankfully I had saved it to a draft about 3/4 of the way through. *Blogger is not responding. *I think I will go clean something. Kitchen would be a good place to start. *Now blogger says I have a html tag error in the blogthings.com copy/paste code *clicked on the ignore code error for this post. *AOL knocked me off online with a shellmon error. *Checked Texas Lottery in the interem *Didn't win $54 Million, but neither did anyone else. *Fixed Kiddo Chicken Noodle Soup *She is still holding it. *I'm still in PJ's *But need to go to the store... I'm going to make meatloaf and buy a sugarfree cake mix and "get well" stuff for kiddo. *I give up on going to work today. *I started posting this at 9:30 am, it's now 1:35pm *Using FireFox now.
