Heck, I missed the entire month of March

Literally!! I had bronchitis, missed a bunch of days at work, one full week which was of course the Kiddo's spring break week. Since the crud was lingering the Doc ordered a chest x-ray. No big deal to be afraid of that... until the Doc calls and says you have an enlarged nodule on (or is it in) your upper left lobe.

Oh good. I have been trying to cough up something. He must have thought I was nuts. So when I asked what a nodule was he said "Oh we see these are the time. They are usually benign".

BENIGN!!! WTF. I have bronchitis, right? Doc wants former chest x-rays to compare the nodule size. I have lived in Texas 25 years. I can't remember for sure but I thought I had one since I moved here. But for someone who has always had a major case of WHITE COAT PHOBIA... I couldn't remember where or when. Of course it didn't matter cause both Doctors, a Son who moved to Sulphur Springs and his Dad, now retired, I couldn't get records from either one of them. Hospital where I thought chest x-rays might have been taken is now a rehab center. And numerous medical center type Doctors or Primacare places when I had sore throats. I don't go to the Doctor. Well, not until I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Been to Doctors more in last 2 years than the last thirty.

So moral of this tale... get chest x-rays every five years and know who has them. Actually it would be a good idea if you made sure all medical records were transferred when you move or change Doctors or they retire. But y'all probably already knew that and did that.

SO this past Friday I had a CT (CAT) Scan. And now I wait. Benign, right? The majority of those are benign he said.

I hate waiting.

Especially when I can't do "active" things. I am using a cane cause I screwed up my left knee. And no I have not been to the Doctor yet for that... It's only been 2 weeks and I have to go tomorrow anyway. #
